Kubo stirs in a frosty storm, and meets Monkey (Charlize Theron), who had been fairly wooden monkey charm for Kubo before she was excited by his mother's charm. Monkey exhorts Kubo that she is going to help him find the three bits of the defensive layer. Kubo and Monkey are invited by "Little Hanzo", one of Kubo's origami that is planned by father. The origami shows Kubo and Monkey the way to his father's defensive layer, where they are invited by Beetle (Matthew McConaughey), a samurai who cases to have been an understudy of Kubo's father. Bug was castigated to take the body kind of a frightening little animal like man, with no memories of his past. He finds that Kubo is the offspring of his ruler and promises to help him in his main goal.
